RANGERS 101

For those basketball fans that are interested, the NBA began its season last night.

For the rest of us, we miss hockey dearly. So much so, that this is actually a newsworthy item.

New York Rangers center Derek Stepan took to Twitter to ask his fans whether or not to dip/dunk his cookies in his milk or not. Former Ranger and current Montreal Canadien Brandon Prust weighed in like Stepan asked the dumbest question in the world.

Prust's response has to make you laugh as he reminds us Blueshirt fans why we all fell in love with the gritty player during HBO's 24/7 last winter.

What this really does is show the fans that hockey players are human. They may be the most down to earth athletes on the planet and don't feel as if they are "better" than everyone else.

We hope the league can NHLPA can finally settle on a deal so we can actually report on hockey, but in the meantime, little fluff stories like such are all we have to work with.

We ask you the fans, what do you prefer when it comes to your cookies?
